September 26, 2022 - Llano High School - FCS

This month's Spotlight is on Llano High School Family and Consumer Sciences.

 

LHS Principal, Scott Patrick, introduced Llano Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher, Deidre Henderson, who outlined many of aspects of the department, including teaching Independent Living, Preparation for College and Career, Mental Health Awareness, and FCCLA.  Mrs. Henderson then introduced Tiffany Stevenson, the Culinary Arts Teacher at Llano High School.  Mrs. Stevenson explained some of the projects that her Culinary Arts class has been involved in.  She then introduced Seniors Rebecca Perez Hernandez and Estrella Baltazar who gave presentations on Family and Consumer Sciences.  They also provided a delicious meal to the Board that was prepared by the Culinary Arts class.
