Libraries

 

Instructional resources are selected to meet the requirements of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the needs of the District's adopted curriculum.  Our libraries are dedicated to providing a wide range of library materials for students and faculty that support student achievement and present varying levels of difficulty, diversity of appeal, and a variety of points of view.

On March 25, 2024, our school board voted to approve EFB(LOCAL) policy (see below) that lists our Collection Development Policy based on the TSLAC School Library Programs Standards and Guidelines.

 

This policy goes into effect immediately and will be posted to TASB Policy Online at a later date.
