Llano Independent School District Mental Health Department provides a trauma-sensitive approach toward education for students, staff, and community members. We strive for all students and staff of Llano ISD to feel safe, respected, valued, and meaningfully engaged.

Evidence-based research shows the connection between regulated brain development and academic success. Intentional focus on mental health education and role modeling of a regulated approach toward relationships creates a healing environment for students and staff. A healing environment creates a safe place for academic success. The mental health department provides district wide educational opportunities and role modeling by integrating evidence-based modalities in all areas of interactions with students and staff.
